DSU has a plan moving forward to save nursing program
Dickinson State University (DSU) has appointed two administrators from Mayville State University to oversee plans for getting their nursing program operational and ready for the fall semester when students return to class.
Operation Homefront: Back to School Supplies Brigade
On Aug. 9, 2024, the Minot Air Force Base School Liaison Office will lead and partner with national nonprofit Operation Homefront to host their annual Back to School Brigade at the Minot AFB Youth Center. The event offers free resources and support to military connected families as children are heading back to school, which can be a hectic (and expensive) time of year.

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – UPDATE (7/26/2024 at 8 a.m.): Power has been restored to Minot as the Xcel Energy map shows no power outages in North Dakota as of Friday morning. ORIGINAL STORY (7/25/2024 at 5:30 p.m.): A power outage is impacting roughly 2,000 Xcel Energy customers in Minot, as of 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Heat advisories are in place through this afternoon until 9:00 PM CT this evening. High temperatures will rise into the 90s today with humid conditions (Dewpoints new 70 degrees) Heat indexes will increase to near 100 degrees this afternoon. Thankfully there is a stiff wind between 15-30+ mph from the south or it would feel even warmer.
