First Alert Weather | Thursday, July 25, 2024
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The humidity continues to hang around the Tri-State this morning, allowing for patchy fog and an isolated shower. Stuffy clouds will allow some episodes of sunshine on the day, moving temperatures from around 70° at sunrise to the mid-80s this afternoon. The Heat Index will creep into the 90s given the humidity, but a few storms will pop to give some a break. More folks than not will get a dry afternoon, but it’s going to take until tomorrow before we really start to feel like things are improving. The timing is right though, as our best weather of the week kicks off our weekend.

As a kid, I could spend hours in the toy aisle, and even as a teenager, I spent quite a bit of time thumbing through the DVD and Blu-ray selections. My wife and I still shop at Big Lots on a regular basis today. It's safe to say that it's one of my all-time favorite stores. Need groceries? Done. Kitchenware? Easy. How about some furniture? They've got all kinds of options out on the floor.
