ADCNR Acquires Beachfront Property on Fort Morgan Peninsula
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) recently acquired 79 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to the Beach Club Resort on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A man who was awaiting execution on Alabama’s death row for the 1994 murder of a Millbrook woman died before his sentence could be carried out. Donald Dallas died at Holman Correctional Facility in south Alabama on Wednesday after battling brain cancer, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey.
