Nassau Cop Punched in Face While Responding to Disturbance at Massapequa Bar; One Female Suspect in Custody
The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Long Beach female for an Assault that occurred on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 9:25 pm in Massapequa. According to Detectives, Officers responded for a disturbance at The Boat Yard Bar located at 1 Ocean Parkway. During the investigation, a female subject became violent and combative and struck a Police Officer in the face. The officer suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene. Defendant Nyasia Coombs- Jones, 27, of 160 E Pine Street was subdued and placed under arrest. No other injuries were reported.
