DEMA to test Salem/Hope Creek Nuclear Plant siren system Tuesday evening
Delaware residents from Delaware City to Smyrna should hear a siren Tuesday night as the Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations hold their quarterly test. The test involves 37 sirens in Delaware located within 10 miles of the two reactors, which generally includes Delaware City, Middletown, Odessa, Townsend, and areas just east of Smyrna.
