Washington Farrier Mike Price Passes Away
Washington farrier Mike Price passed away peacefully Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was 68. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a teenager, Price was active in diabetic research to help find a cure. He married Sharon Maher in 1973 and the couple started a family 3 years later in Scottsbluff, Neb. The family moved in 1986 to Washington, eventually settling in Lewis County where he earned a reputation as a respected farrier and horseman.
