LEWISBURG,WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Hive has announced that it will be teaming with Ascend WV Greenbrier Valley for its upcoming “Coffee Talks” networking session, sponsored by City National Bank.

The event, set to take place at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine ‘s Clingman Center for Community Engagement at 980 Jefferson Street North in Lewisburg, will get underway at 9:30am on Tuesday, August 6, and will run until 11:00am.

New River Gorge Regional Development Authority Deputy Director and WV Hive Executive Director, Judy Moore will be conducting an interview with Jorge Rodriguez-Stanley, co-owner of the RNCVRT – a gluten-free cafe located in the Ronceverte area of Greenbrier County – along with Chris Rodriguez-Stanley.

“The goal of the RNCVRT cafe is to provide fresh, healthy options that introduce new flavors to the area, Rodriguez-Stanley said.

The pair are also owners of the Hollerwood House, a Ronceverte inn boasting three bedrooms and a tranquil atmosphere which brings together elements of both the Holler and Hollywood through the decor and art displayed within.

The upcoming “Coffee Talks” session will feature a discussion of City National Bank’s services for entrepreneurs and small businesses from City National Bank Vice President, Retail Regional Manager, Morgan Hodge.

“Entrepreneurship is strong in Ascend Greenbrier Valley, where 16 percent of our program members are already small business owners, and even more have entrepreneurial goals. Our coworking space provides a base camp for program members and others in the local community to co-work, network, and build connections that can help new businesses come alive,” said Greenbrier Valley Experience Coordinator for Ascend WV, Callie Isenberg.

“We value to opportunity to gain experience from entrepreneurs and resource providers, while providing a beautiful and functional space to facilitate meaningful connections. Ascend WV is a program of the Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative, whose mission it is to empower WV’s communities and partners to advance the state’s economy and enhance quality of life through outdoor recreation. It’s extremely positive to see all entrepreneurs, especially those in the outdoor economy, tap into the resources available through the WV Hive and other community partners.”

The event will feature both guided and casual networking opportunities geared toward business owners, local entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

“Our ‘Coffee Talks’ sessions are always informative and designed to make meaningful connections,” Isenberg said.
