LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – In conjunction with the Lewisburg Literary Festival the Greenbrier Artists are planning an art exhibit entitled “Every Painting Tells a Story” at the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors’ Center at 905 Washington Street West in Lewisburg. The art show will open Friday, August 2, and continue through the month.

Artists will be at the Visitors Center Friday after 5 p.m. to greet guests and to discuss the stories behind the paintings. The show should be a lot of fun, and each painting will have a “mini” story attached.

Greenbrier Artists is a non-profit group that meets to paint each week at Carnegie Hall. They are committed to promoting education and local art in the community. They do short demos, field trips, annual workshops and exhibits in several local venues. New members are always welcome.
