Depth on display in second Vandal scrimmage, plus a visit from Mark Schlereth

MOSCOW — Idaho hosted fans and Vandal hall of famer Mark Schlereth to watch the final scrimmage of the fall.

The No. 1 offense saw limited action on the field and did not play in a live situation where the defense was allowed to tackle. Instead, the first-stringers played the role of mentors and leaders for the players battling it out for those crucial final spots on the travel roster Saturday at the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.
