WSU's receivers tall, fast and ready

Austin Peay transfer Tre Shackelford had a rather lofty comparison as he complimented his teammates in Washington State’s wide receiver room.

“I compare this unit to, I don’t know if y’all remember, but 2019 Alabama, when they had (Jerry) Jeudy, (Henry) Ruggs, DeVonta Smith — everybody in our room can play, from Dub (Kyle Williams), from BB (Brandon) Hills, from Kris Hutson, from Tony Freeman,” Shackelford said. “It’s just like you got all the options you need. You got speed, you got somebody that’s a deep threat, like me and Max (Kyle Maxwell). You got somebody that’s gonna route you up, like Kris Hutson and like Los (Carlos Hernandez) too, even though Los is down, man, he’s been there supporting us throughout the way.”
