John Repke the only choice for state auditor
The Montana state auditor is an elected official whose job is to regulate the insurance and securities industries as well as protect consumers from fraud. Montanans need a dedicated individual with integrity to serve as auditor in a climate of escalating insurance rates and an era of rampant consumer fraud. That individual is John Repke.I personally know John as a hard-working person who is dedicated to protecting Montana insurance consumers. He has 40 years of business experience including executive experience in the timber products industry and in business finance. He has a long track record of advocating for public lands in a volunteer capacity making him an excellent choice to serve on the Montana State Land Board, one of the roles of state auditor. This year we, as voters, are facing a historic national and state election. There is no more important position than state auditor in protecting consumer rights of Montanans. I strongly urge you to support John Repke for state auditor.-- Suzanne Daniell Hildner, Whitefish
Tester the choice for community health centers
Montana is home to around 16 Federally Qualified Health Centers (CHC). In the Flathead Valley there is Flathead Community Health Center, the Confederate Salish & Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation and in the surrounding towns there is Tribal Health Blackfeet, NW CHC in Lincoln and Mineral Regional Health in Superior plus all of the others across the state. And Tim Sheehy wants to privatize our health care? Privatization leads...

Stores In Montana That Will Be Closed On Thanksgiving
Back in 2020, when the Covid Pandemic had it's full grip on America, we experienced a not-so-shoppy Black Friday. The pandemic reminded us how great it was to spend the day with friends, family and great food. The shopping could be done at a regular hour Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.
Independent candidate challenges incumbent Republican for Montana utility board seat
A small agency with an important, if often unintelligible job, the Montana Public Service Commission tends to fly under Montanans’ radar, largely due to the exceedingly technical nature of its work. Headed by five commissioners elected by district, the PSC was first established over a century ago to oversee railroad companies. Now it’s best known for regulating the monopoly utility companies that serve two-thirds of the state’s electricity and natural gas customers.
