Body found in pond near Harbison area, death investigation underway
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is investigating after they say a body was found in a pond near the Harbison area. Officers said the discovery was made late Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of Crossbow Drive. That's not far from Columbiana Drive which runs off Harbison Boulevard.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The body of a man was found in a pond in a Harbison-area neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department announced they are investigating the death near the Waters Edge at Harbison Apartment complex at the 200 block of Crossbow Drive, off Columbiana Drive.

Lexington, SC 07/10/2024 (Paul Kirby) – Lexington County Sherriff's Department detectives are investigating after a body was found in a pond off Crossbow Drive in the Irmo area of the county Tuesday evening. They are calling this a death investigation which normally means that there was no obvious cause of death and determining what killed this person will require that Coroner Fisher send the body for an autopsy before they can classify this case. Classifications can include homicide, suicide, accidental, or natural causes.
