Two Kentucky groups are coming together to give Swifties a dream trip for a good cause.

Taylor Swift, shown here performing during the first night of the Cincinnati stop of the Eras Tour at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on June 30, 2023, will be in Miami Oct. 18-19. Proceeds from the charity raffle will benefit the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center’s Ovarian Screening Program , which provides free annual sonographic screenings to women across the Commonwealth.

“Ovarian cancer awareness is important to me because my sister Megan was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and unfortunately passed away after a five-month battle,” BHG co-founder Brian McCarty said in a news release. “If you knew Megan, she had the biggest smile and an infectious laugh; and we miss her very much. It’s an honor for our restaurants to raise awareness and funds for the ovarian cancer screening program.”

UK says ovarian cancer is a treatable and curable disease when caught early. But it’s one of the leading causes of cancer deaths among women. The non-profit Capital Ovarian Cancer Organization offers support services for women and families fighting ovarian cancer.
