It’s not too late to attend the Herald-Leader’s three community meetings this week

    By Richard Green,

We’re excited to meet with our readers and subscribers Wednesday and Thursday at three Herald-Leader community meetings.

I’ve been very impressed by the dozens who already have said they plan to attend our free sessions. Interested in going? It’s not too late to sign-up.

Please click on our RSVP page ( kentucky.com/event ) where you can get more information and register for one of our three events.

I’ll be there to share details about the Herald-Leader’s decision to convert to a three-days-a-week schedule for our print editions (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) starting Aug. 5 while also discussing our expanding digital presence, our newsletters and our commitment to hard-hitting local content.

We also will have a customer service representative in all meetings to field your questions and assist with any digital issues.

We are hosting two free, public meetings at Lexington libraries and a third session for subscribers at our newsroom near Greyline Station. You can find us:

    • July 17: Central Library Branch, Room B, 5:30-7 p.m. It has a capacity of 40. The address of the branch is 140 E. Main St. in downtown Lexington.
    • July 18: Marksbury Family Branch Library, Community Room B, 9:30 a.m. to noon. It has a capacity of 135. The address of the branch is 2197 Versailles Road, Lexington.
    • July 18: 5-7 p.m. at the Herald-Leader, 105 W. Loudon Avenue in Lexington, adjacent to Greyline Station.

I’m eager to see you there.

As always, thanks for reading the Herald-Leader and kentucky.com.

Richard A. Green is our executive editor. He can be reached at rgreen@herald-leader.com
