July is a pretty quiet month in recruiting, but it's a time where prospects begin to further narrow down their lists and schedule visits. Now, a Kentucky target has began that process. On Monday, 2025 top 25 forward Niko Bundalo cut his list of schools to a final eight, according to On3's Joe Tipton .

Among those schools? Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Texas, UConn, and Xavier. On top of coming down to a list of eight, Bundalo has also scheduled a handful of visits. Although no visit to Kentucky has been scheduled yet, according to 247 Sports' Travis Branham , the Wildcats are expected to be the last official visit he takes. His current list of official visits include UConn on August 31, Michigan State on September 6, Ohio State on September 21, and North Carolina on October 4.

Bundalo, a four-star forward, talked about his relationship with Mark Pope and the Kentucky staff and his thoughts on the Kentucky program with Tipton. "Obviously it’s a really, really prestigious blue-blood school," he said. "They’ve sent the most guys to the NBA than any other college in history. They breed pros. I really like coach Mark Pope. Me and coach Pope have really good conversations about basketball and outside of that. I think he’s one of those guys that just enjoys basketball and just enjoys being around his guys. The guys that he recruits are the ones that he sees meshing really well with him and his team."

As far as when we should expect Bundalo to visit Kentucky, the target date of the fall has been floating around as a timeline.
