Meet Social Cycling Lexington

While curating our events list featured above, we stumbled across one that piqued our interest: the

First Friday Social Ride .

Coming to us from Social Cycling Lexington , the same group that hosts Coffee Outside , the family-friendly evening bike ride is open to all levels. The group aims to improve local bike culture by organizing + sharing events in the area. Cyclists are invited to meet at Gratz Park at 6:30 p.m. on the first Friday of the month (hence the name) for a casually-paced ride through downtown.

According to the Facebook event, the ride will be around five to eight miles, ending at a nearby brewery. Interested cyclists and biking enthusiasts are encouraged to join.
