    Liberal airport planning full-scale safety drill Thursday

    LIBERAL, Kan. (KSNW) — If you’re near the Liberal Mid-America airport on Thursday, you might see an increased presence of emergency responders.

    The City of Liberal said in a Facebook post that it is conducting training exercises on Thursday morning.

    Surprise announcement: Baby bears arrive at Sedgwick County Zoo

    The training will involve an emergency response to a security scenario.

    The City of Liberal said they made the post to inform residents so they would not be alarmed if they noticed the response.
