EDISON PARK — The grocery store and cafe filling the closed Happy Foods in Edison Park could open before the end of the year, the owner said. EP Market is taking over the space at 6783 N. Northwest Highway, which has sat empty for almost two years. The family-owned market will include a cafe, bakery and taqueria, co-owner Eduardo Haro said. NWS confirms EF-1 tornado traveled into Naperville on Monday
The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado traveled from Yorkville to south Naperville on Monday night. A storm survey map posted by the NWS shows the tornado’s nearly 17-mile path originating in Yorkville, slightly east of Beecher Road, at 8:55 p.m., then traveling eastward through Oswego, before taking a northeast slant and entering Naperville just south of Wolf’s Crossing Road.
