OSHP: 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in Licking County crash
LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — A 21-year-old man driving a motorcycle was killed during a crash in Licking County on Monday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Deputies were called on a report of a crash just after 6 p.m. on Cristland Hills Road, located just outside of Buckeye Lake in Licking Township.

Licking County- The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said they’re on the lookout for what they believe is a blue 2003 to 2005 Yamaha R6 motorcycle. Deputies said Saturday around 4:30pm they attempted to stop the motorcycle on 16 west. Authorities said when they activated their lights the motorcycle fled at a high rate of speed.

Historic Louis Sullivan building to be restored, turned into Licking County tourism and visitor center
A historic Newark building designed by a renowned architect is undergoing a transformation. The Home Association Bank building, which is also known by the name of its designer, Louis Sullivan, was recently approved for a $1.2 million historic preservation tax credit from the state of Ohio.
