One injured in crash near Licking, patrol says

A Columbia, Mo. woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Katherine L. Eschrich, 82, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Montana southbound on U.S. 63 one mile south of Licking when she traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected and struck a guardrail, patrol said.

Eschrich was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with moderate injuries.

She was wearing a safety device. The vehicle had extensive damage.

Investigating the accident was Cpl. Stacy J. Crewse.
