Jamestown woman sentenced following firearms trafficking conviction
FARGO, ND — A Jamestown woman is sentenced to just over 8 years in prison following a firearms trafficking conviction. Court documents say April Bergman stole 35 guns from a business in Jamestown, three of which authorities say were used to trade for drugs. Additionally, court documents say Bergman received three firearms authorities claimed would have led to a felony.
More mosquito spraying planned for Cass County
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Cass County Vector Control has multiple mosquito spraying operations planned this week. They scheduled truck mounted spraying for elevated mosquito nuisance for rural cities and subdivisions in Cass County on Wednesday, June 17, after 8:00 p.m. And they have aerial spraying for elevated mosquito nuisance in the cities of Fargo and West Fargo on Thursday, July 18, 2024, after 8:30 p.m.
Increased security for Downtown Fargo Street Fair
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The Downtown Fargo Street Fair will have increased security measures this year. After the events on July 14, 2023, including the alleged plot to attack the street fair, public safety partners discussed what they can do this year to make attendees feel safe.
