Taylor Swift Seemingly Teases ‘Reputation’ by Carrying Snake Purse on Date Night With Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce held hands as they stepped out in New York City for the second night in a row. While all eyes were on the A-list couple, eagle-eyed Swifites also couldn’t help but notice a very important detail on Taylor’s ensemble.

For the night out at Torrisi restaurant on Saturday, October 12, Taylor, 34, rocked a velvet green corset top and skirt, which she paired with chunky black heels. However, it was her purse that had fans talking, as the accessory was adorned with the letter R and two snakes. Fans are anxiously waiting for the release of the rerecorded version of the pop star’s album Reputation , and this seems to be the latest hint that it’s on its way.

Snakes became the symbol of Taylor’s Reputation era in 2017 after Kim Kardashian referred to her as a “snake” online. She announced the original album with snake imagery and had a massive snake on stage with her during the Reputation tour in 2018.

Reputation is one of the six albums that Taylor is rerecording to earn the rights back to her masters. She’s already dropped rerecords for Fearless, Red, Speak Now and 1989, leaving just Reputation and the self-titled Taylor Swift to still be released. Taylor has not yet confirmed when they will be coming out.

The “Blank Space” singer is in the midst of a hiatus from her Eras tour, which resumes on Friday, October 18, in Miami, Florida. With the Kansas City Chiefs on a bye weekend from the 2024 NFL season, Travis, 35, also had a few days off, which the pair spent in the Big Apple. On October 11, they stepped out for another dinner date where they were joined by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds .

Taylor has mostly been keeping a low-profile during her downtime, but did show up for three of Travis’ home games in Kansas City. The lovebirds also attended a friend’s wedding in New York City and had a public date at the US Open in early September.

However, they’ll likely have to spend some time apart in the coming weeks, as Travis will be in the height of football season and Taylor’s upcoming weekends will be spent back out on the road. After a weekend in Miami, she’ll head to New Orleans and Indianapolis, followed by two weekends in Toronto before the tour ends in Vancouver at the beginning of December.

Many fans are holding out hope that the end of the tour will also mean the release of Reputation (Taylor’s Version). The Grammy winner already released a brand new album – The Tortured Poets Department – earlier this year, though. Previously, she dropped two rerecords – Fearless and Red – in 2021, followed by a new album – Midnights – in 2022, then two more rerecords – Speak Now and 1989 – in 2023. Should she continue to follow this schedule, 2025 will be the year of Reputation and Taylor Swift , which will afford TTPD to have its full moment in the spotlight.
