Nick Jonas ran off stage during the Tuesday, October 15, Jonas Brothers concert in Prague after a fan pointed a red laser at his head from the crowd.

Some of the attendees at the O2 Arena recorded the frightening moment and uploaded the clips on social media. In the video, Nick, 32, was sitting at the grand piano on stage while the stage lights were off and music wasn’t playing. After seeing the laser, he repeatedly threw up a “timeout” sign to his security team while rushing off stage.

A TikTok user shared a slow-mo clip of the moment the laser pointed at Nick’s head, alongside a comment from a fan, explaining what allegedly happened. “I saw on Twitter [X] that apparently someone pointed a laser at him, so he ran off, followed by Joe [Jonas] and Kevin [Jonas] , and then the whole band left and the show was stopped for a few mins before continuing,” the comment read.

Neither Nick, Kevin, 36, nor Joe, 35, has addressed the incident.

Fans rallied behind the “Jealous” singer in the comments section of the TikTok post and slammed the unidentified laser pointer.

“I heard that they did get the person before they continued the show and escorted them out but haven’t heard if there were any repercussions,” one person wrote.

A second person commented, “That is so effing stupid! why would you think that would be something funny? ruined EVERYBODY'S experience, for what? what if people had panicked and stampede?”

“WE RIDE AT DAWN FOR NICK,” a third person chimed in.

It isn’t a secret that Nick requires proper etiquette by fans during the Jonas Brothers shows. In September 2023, the “Close” singer told the crowd at a Sacramento, California, concert to stop throwing objects at them.

In the clips uploaded to TikTok , Nick dodged an item, seemingly a bracelet, and scolded the person who threw it with his eyes. Seemingly irritated, he adjusted his hat before a second person threw a bracelet at him. After that, Nick put his hands up and repeatedly told them to “stop” throwing things.

Nick isn’t the first musician to experience disobedient concertgoers.

In November 2023, Taylor Swift gave a PSA to fans in between songs after a handful of items were thrown on stage during a show in Argentina.

“Because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries, it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on stage,” the “Lover” singer, 34, said. “Because if it’s on the stage then a dancer can trip on it. I love that you brought presents and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage. I love you so much.”

Meanwhile, other artists aren’t so nice to rude fans, including Cardi B . The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 32, performed at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas in July 2023 and got into an altercation after a fan threw a cup of water at her. Cardi quickly threw her microphone at someone in the crowd before shouting profanities to the audience.
