Travis Kelce Praises Taylor Swift for ‘Powering Through’ Rain Shows on Eras Tour, Says He Had ‘FOMO’

Travis Kelce praised girlfriend Taylor Swift after her rain shows during the Eras tour stops in Miami, admitting he felt left out after missing the concerts.

“Well I had all the FOMO in the world with the entire family and a lot of our friends being there,” Travis, 34, said during the Wednesday, October 23, episode of his “New Heights” podcast . “I had a bunch of friends that were also down by the stage, that had been to a few shows overseas, and they were saying the same thing that you're saying. The Miami stadium was just on another level.”

While Travis couldn’t make it to any of Taylor’s shows in Miami due to his football schedule, his mom, Donna Kelce , his brother, Jason Kelce , his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce , and their oldest daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, 5, and Elliotte Ray, 3, were in attendance at the October 18 show.

Jason, 36, told Travis that the concert was “incredible,” and the Kansas City Chiefs athlete responded, “Man, I wish I was there.”

“Everyone had a good time,” Jason continued. “Not only did everyone have a good time but everybody has been texting over the last couple of days since then like, ‘Dude, she’s just incredible.’”

Jason went on to state that “ Miami was another level ,” adding, “I’m excited for her to be back on tour for this final leg of the Eras run here. It’s pretty awesome. It was an incredible trip, so keep killing it, Tay.”

Travis reiterated that Taylor will “keep killing it,” while Jason gave shoutouts to their family members that attended the tour for the first time in Miami. “Donna Kelce's first show, Elliotte Kelce's first show, Wyatt Kelce's first show,” he listed. “It was an awesome time down there, man.”

Jason then reflected on how "insane" the venue got and explained that the crowd "erupted" when Taylor, 34, "came out in the rain."

“And shoutout to Tay Tay for powering through a couple rain shows there,” Travis concluded.

While Travis wasn’t able to attend any of Taylor’s Miami concerts, she did give her boyfriend a shoutout of his own during the third night on October 20. After the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers earlier that day, the “Cornelia Street” singer celebrated the win by changing the lyrics to her song “Karma” at the end of the concert.

“Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,” she sang during the song’s bridge. The original lyric is, “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.”

Travis spent most of his offseason supporting Taylor on her Eras tour, and he even joined her on stage for a cameo during her June show in London.

“I initially mentioned it to Tay,” he recalled about the surprise appearance during a July episode of his podcast. “I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just, like, rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 act, that era?’ She started laughing. She was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for something like that?’ And I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough. Might as well just put me to work here.’”

Travis added that Taylor “found the perfect part of the show” for his cameo and said he had “an absolute blast” while appearing on stage before her performance of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
