DALLAS, Texas — A man was found dead inside a parked vehicle on Fernwood Avenue, Dallas police say. On July 18, 2024, at approximately 2:35 PM, Dallas police responded to a call regarding a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Fernwood Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased inside the vehicle, according to a press release from the Dallas Police Department.

DALLAS, Texas — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early on July 4, 2024, on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to Dallas police. The preliminary investigation determined that 35-year-old Lydie Zebaze Metsindon was walking on the Cedar Crest bridge when an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard struck her. The driver fled the scene without stopping to assist Zebaze Metsindon, who died at the scene.
