Verisk Analytics Inc. said Friday that Hurricane Beryl caused between $2 billion and $3 billion in insured onshore property damage when it struck Texas earlier this month. DALLAS, Texas — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early on July 4, 2024, on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to Dallas police.
