The Family Place Names Longtime Leader as Its New CEO
Tiffany Tate (McDaniel) has been announced as the new CEO of Dallas-based The Family Place, Texas’ largest family violence service agency, now in its 46th year. The agency said that Tate brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the agency. Dallas police seek information in fatal hit-and-run on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
DALLAS, Texas — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run early on July 4, 2024, on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to Dallas police. The preliminary investigation determined that 35-year-old Lydie Zebaze Metsindon was walking on the Cedar Crest bridge when an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard struck her. The driver fled the scene without stopping to assist Zebaze Metsindon, who died at the scene.
