The national Democratic and Republican parties are once again gearing up for an expensive fight over Maine's 2nd Congressional District seat. The National Republican Campaign Committee announced last week that it reserved nearly $2.5 million in the Bangor, Presque Isle and Portland television markets. PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Tuesday. After another wonderful day across the region featuring plenty of sunshine, some changes are on the way for tomorrow, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. The area of high pressure that’s been in control of our weather for the past 36 hours now continues to weaken and push eastward. This will result in one more nice day featuring sunshine tomorrow, before cloud cover returns to the region late in the afternoon going into the evening hours. This is out ahead of our next disturbance, a weakening low pressure system, which looks to bring a quick round of showers to the forecast right around sunrise Thursday, before exiting the region and leaving us with nicer weather for the second half of the day.
