LIMESTONE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Old Pilot Hill General Store in Limestone is reopening soon, and owners hosted a one-day sale on Saturday to get into the swing of things.

The general store will have space for local vendors to sell their goods and a homestyle café will be attached to the store.

Old Pilot Hill operated as a general store, restaurant and live music venue for many years. The new owner, Terry Thoelke, said they want to bring that back, along with a place for the community to flourish.

“It provides an income for the local people, as well,” she said. “And, if there’s some way that we can give them exposure that they aren’t getting but they want, they will know to come here to get that exposure.”

There are also plans for an apple orchard to be planted behind the store, and an event space barn is available behind the store for rentals.

The Old Pilot Hill General Store is located at 826 Snapp Bridge Road in Limestone.
