First Alert Weather: Increased flood concerns as storm chances increase
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Next 24 Hours: We’ve had widely scattered showers and storms all over the state today and some storms have been strong. I received photos of the localized flooding along Cahaba Road entering Mountain Brook. Some areas have seen little to no rain. This trend will continue throughout the evening, with scattered storms and showers decreasing in coverage tonight. In this pattern, we could see more spotty showers, or even a storm, during the late-night hours and early morning. However, expect another big increase in storm coverage throughout the day on Wednesday, as temperatures rise.
