A casual wine bar featuring a wide variety of tapas in Lincoln has found its new owners. Citizen Vine , a concept by local serial restaurateur and marine veteran Paul Jansen , is acquired by the Daley family: husband and wife Ken and Holly Daley , and their sons and daughter. The news was first seen on Sacramento Business Journal .

Located at 845 Twelve Bridges Dr suite 145, Citizen Vine opened in 2015 and calls itself an “anti-wine bar,” or the “Cheers” of wine bar on its website, as it steps away from the intimidating, distant atmosphere in traditional wine bars and focuses on community building and making patrons feel like they just stepped into someone’s home. The bar also offers quarterly memberships at two price tiers.

Jansen announced that he was selling the business on Facebook this week. The new owner, Ken Daley , was VP of Estimates and Sales at Sacramento-based DH Construction. According to the Business Journal article, Daley intends to maintain normal operations while retaining all current employees. Daley also plans on making changes to the menu and, eventually, if time and resources permit, the interiors.

What Now Sacramento had not received comments from the Daleys by the time of this coverage, though the incoming operators did confirm their acquisition of the business. According to the Business Journal , the sales is anticipated to finalize on April 1st. Meanwhile, Jansen is working on opening a new concept called Sette Pasta House by mid-May.
