Missing Central Oregon Youth Found in Southern Idaho
SPRAY — On July 13 the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of two missing juveniles from Spray, Oregon, at about 7:20 pm. It was reported the youth were on a camping trip in a forested area inside Morrow County. At the end of the camping trip, they told their parents over the phone that they would be returning home to Spray from Heppner.

On Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. an updated air quality alert was issued for Baker, Harney and Malheur counties. "High concentration of smoke particulates from wildfire smoke," can be expected according to the weather service. "Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on weather. Fire restrictions are in effect for all Bureau of Land Management public lands throughout the Northwest Oregon District. BLM leaders encourage all visitors to be aware of active restrictions and closures as warmer, drier weather sets in around the Pacific Northwest.
