    Multiple drug-related indictments handed down

    Multiple drug-related indictments were handed down this month by a Lincoln County grand jury.

    There were two people arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in February after selling narcotics to confidential informants.

    Dehesha C. Wiser, 34, of Ky. Hwy. 198 in Hustonville was indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on June 14.

    According to the indictment, Wiser allegedly committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance on Feb. 2 after selling heroin and fentanyl to a confidential informant.

    Det. Sgt. Michael Mullins testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Wiser’s bond was set at $25,000. An arraignment has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 26.

    Kelsey M. Tasker, 32, of Rice Lane in Stanford was indicted by a grand jury on one count of trafficking in a controlled substance for allegedly selling fentanyl to a confidential informant on Feb. 26.

    Det. Sgt. Michael Mullins testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Tasker’s bond was set at $10,000. An arraignment has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on July 12.

    Additional indictments

    The following people were indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on June 14:

    • Gary M. Britton, 46, of Stanford: one count of fleeing or evading police by disobeying a peace officer’s signal to stop his vehicle on April 17; criminal mischief by destroying or damaging property belonging to Tommy Case of a value of over $1,000; and committing the offense of being a persistent felony offender. Trooper Toney Allen testified for Kentucky State Police. Bond was set at $15,000.
    • Larry J. Brent, 44, of Stanford: one count of trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl) on Feb. 27. Det. Sgt. Michael Mullins testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $10,000.
    • Jennifer Ray, 45, of Stanford: one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on May 6. Det. Sgt. Michael Mullins testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $5,000.
