Two Arrested In Lincoln County Theft Ring
LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Two Charlotte residents are facing multiple felony charges for their involvement in four separate theft cases, according to a news release. The release states that 23 year-old William Munoz-Pineda and 24-year-old Laura Redden were identified as suspects in cases involving the theft of trucks, trailers, a side by side, a zero-turn lawnmower and an attempted theft of a motorcycle.
Gastonia Man Arrested for Alleged Break-In and Donning Resident's Clothes in Lincoln County Home
A bizarre incident in Lincoln County has led to the arrest of a Gastonia man who was discovered inside someone else's home, clothed in the resident's attire. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, the homeowner entered his North Ingleside Farm Road residence on Monday, to find 46-year-old Tanou Chittamath wearing his clothes, and shoes. Deputies responded to the 911 call and detained Chittamath at the scene.
NC man charged in crash that killed Lawndale Man, troopers say
LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — A man is facing multiple charges in connection with a deadly crash in Lincoln County on Monday, state troopers said. North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a crash at the intersection of North Carolina 10 and North Carolina 18 around 7:15 a.m. on July 15. Troopers say the driver of a 2019 Dodge Ram ran a stop sign on North Carolina 10 and was hit by a 1997 Dodge van coming from the other direction. The crash caused the van to flip over onto its side.
