Colorado man accused of stealing car, running over owner in Nebraska
LINCOLN COUNTY, Neb. — A 32-year-old Colorado man was arrested Saturday after he stole a car and ran over the owner, according to Nebraska State Patrol. Around 1 p.m. Saturday, state patrol said Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Interstate 80 near Hershey. The witness reported the driver of the vehicle was running from the scene towards the Interstate Lakes area.
Hours of pursuit down I-80 leads to arrest of Colorado man
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Nebraska State Patrol SWAT Team arrested Abraham Pacheco, 32, of Thornton, Colorado Saturday following a pursuit and search near Brady. The incident began Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says they responded to a vehicle on fire on I-80. A witness reported that the driver of the vehicle, Pacheco, ran away from the scene.
Man allegedly drove stolen vehicle wrong way on I-80 to evade Nebraska State Patrol
A Colorado man allegedly stole a pickup truck with a camper Saturday and then drove the wrong way on Interstate 80 while attempting to evade law enforcement officers. The 32-year-old man was eventually arrested about 7:30 p.m. near the town of Brady in central Nebraska. He was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on numerous charges, a spokesperson for the Nebraska State Patrol said Sunday.
