Man allegedly drove stolen vehicle wrong way on I-80 to evade Nebraska State Patrol
A Colorado man allegedly stole a pickup truck with a camper Saturday and then drove the wrong way on Interstate 80 while attempting to evade law enforcement officers. The 32-year-old man was eventually arrested about 7:30 p.m. near the town of Brady in central Nebraska. He was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on numerous charges, a spokesperson for the Nebraska State Patrol said Sunday.
Suspect arrested after pursuit, search in Lincoln County
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Nebraska State Patrol SWAT Team arrested a Colorado man following a pursuit and extensive search near Brady. The incident began around 1 p.m. Saturday when the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle fire on Interstate 80 near Hershey. A witness reported that the driver was fleeing toward the Interstate Lakes area.
