Mail carrier sustains serious injuries following dog attack
A mail carrier received serious injuries Saturday after being attacked by a dog on Harbin Road. While delivering a package to a residence the mail carrier saw an open garage door and attempted to lay the package down when a large white dog with spots “… came out of nowhere and latched onto her left arm,” stated Deputy Freddie Arnold of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, while quoting the mail carrier in his report.

Upcoming Music in the Park to feature Midnight Jane
The upcoming Music in the Park, hosted by the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Stone Bridge Park will feature Midnight Jane. Midnight Jane features a blend of rock classics, pop hits, and just a hint of country. Fans said they will keep you dancing and singing all night long. Spray’s celebrates grand re-opening
Spray’s Jewelers, family, friends and Fayetteville-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce celebrate the 20th anniversary and grand re-opening of the store with a ribbon cutting and open house.
