(Lincoln, NE) – The United States U21 National Team was able to take a gold medal at the NORCECA Continental Championship in Canada on Sunday. Both Nebraska’s Bergen Reilly and Andi Jackson helped lead the team alongside Nebraska assistant coach Jaylen Reyes who served as an assistant for the U21 National Team.

The two Huskers helped Team USA sweep Puerto Rico 25-12, 25-16, and 25-16 in the gold medal match without dropping a single set in all five matches throughout the championship series. Throughout the series, Jackson earned a total of nine kills, three blocks, and one ace. Reilly was able to lead the United States to a .464-hitting percentage as the top setter for Team USA. In other competitions, Nebraska seniors Merritt Beason, Taylor Landfair, and Lexi Rodriguez were able to capture a silver medal at the NORCECA Final Six as the U.S. Team fell to the Dominican Republic in five sets.

All of the Huskers will return back to Lincoln to prepare for the upcoming 2024-25 season after going 33-2 last season and fell in the NCAA Championship match 3-0.
