Quinn Yost Earns Nebraska’s Spangler Golf Award

(Lincoln, NE) – Nebraska golfer Quinn Yost has been named the 2023-24 winner of the Dick Spangler Golf Award. This scholarship award is presented to a sophomore or junior golfer who has made strides forward for the golf program.

Yost finished with three top-25 individual finishes as a sophomore which included a pair of top-10 performances in 2023-24. Throughout the season, he had a 73.38 stroke average, marking 2.68 strokes-per-round improvements over his freshman season. For the Huskers, he was also honored as an Academic All-Big Ten honoree as a business administration major and a four-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection.

The Dick Spangler Award honors the former Nebraska golfer who dedicated his life to the game of golf and Nebraska athletics.
