FOUND: Missing Lincoln County couple located

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a couple missing out of Lincoln County was located.

On July 19, deputies were dispatched to a residence regarding the caller’s missing grandson along with a female. She told officers that her grandson, Jeremy Richard Gales, 37 and Megan Danielle Johnson, 34, were last seen leaving the residence on July 15 in the 3500 block of Startown Road in Lincolnton.

The couple contacted the sheriff’s office and met with the investigating officer in Lincolnton.

After confirming their identity, they’ve been removed from the National Crime Information Center.

No word on where the couple was or why Gale’s grandmother reported them missing.
