Emporia High volleyball goes 2-3 at AVCTL Preseason Tournament
The Emporia High volleyball team opened the season with a 2-3 record in the AVCTL Preseason Tournament in Hutchinson on Saturday. Emporia High started the day with two victories, defeating Buhler, 25-10, 22-25, 25-23, and Hutchinson, 25-13, 20-25, 25-19. EHS was swept by Kapaun Mt. Carmel, 25-23, 25-22. EHS fell to Garden City, 25-13, 19-25, 19-25 and Valley Center, 25-17, 12-25, 23-25.
