The City of Lindale, which proudly calls themselves the hometown of Lambert, is also home to her boutique Pink Pistol.

According to Lambert, on September 13, her new album “Postcards from Texas” will be released and each song on the record is a letter from her to the listener.

The 14 track album includes the songs “Armadillo”, “No Man’s Land”, “Wranglers”, “I Hate Love Songs” and “Run”.

“‘Postcards from Texas’ captures the country siren’s freewheeling, funny, at times feisty take on swing, shuffles, bluegrass and ballads with unbridled gusto,” the country singer’s record label said.

Visit Lindale said Lambert still calls the city home as it was the first place she heard a country tune and where she wrote her first song.

In her album announcement post, Lambert said, “on my last album I was travelling. Now, I’m home.”
