Fun for the family at Dresden Summerfest, July 14
DRESDEN — The grounds of the historic Pownalborough Court House, in Dresden, will be filled with the sounds of a perfect summer day on Sunday, July 14, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. This annual free event, open to everyone, features horse and wagon rides, goat petting, live music by Halfmoon Jug Band, Dresden’s Olsen Twin Violinists, face painting, fanciful balloons, food by Dresden Fire Department, and vendors with local items for sale.

New memory center in Presque Isle provides testing and caregiver support to community
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - The Aroostook Agency on Aging’s new memory center is the first outpatient memory care facility in Aroostook County. The Memory Center had a soft opening in May and has assisted more than 40 individuals so far. The center offers service coordination and early diagnosis, which is a resource the Aroostook Agency on Aging says was very needed in Aroostook County.
