Multiple People Wounded in Midnight Shooting at Anderson Gathering, Investigation Underway
Chaos erupted at a large gathering in Anderson just after the stroke of midnight, leaving several people with gunshot wounds and two in serious condition. According to the Anderson Police Department, officers responded to reports of a crowd blocking the 2200 block of Arrow Avenue and engaging in a brawl that quickly escalated into gunfire, as described by FOX59. The otherwise residential area on the west side of Anderson became a scene of violence and distress, prompting police intervention.
