LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) — A Lisbon man was sentenced last week for a July 2022 incident in which investigators say a teen was thrown out of a truck he was driving.

Warrant issued for woman in $1.8M Ohio Medicaid fraud

Bradden Crumrine, 21, was indicted by a Columbiana County Grand Jury in April of 2023 after investigators said he was driving when a 16-year-old boy was thrown from the bed of the truck as it rounded a curve. A witness told troopers Crumrine kept going. The teen was treated for serious injuries at the time of the incident.

According to the Morning Journal , the victim still suffers from injuries as a result of the incident, such as side weakness, blurry eyesight, memory loss and seizures. His mother told the court that he had been suicidal and is in counseling and on medication that helps.

Crumrine was found guilty of two felony charges of failing to stop after an accident. He was initially indicted on four charges of failure to stop, but the other two were dismissed.

Court records reflect that Crumrine was sentenced to 60 days in the Columbiana County Jail. On Friday, a motion for work release was submitted on Crumrine’s behalf by his attorney.
