Boston College Football Special Teams Preview 2024
Liam Connor will return in 2024 for his third season on the Heights and now his second full season as Boston College’s field goal kicker. The Leominster, MA native was very solid for the Eagles in his first year as a starter in 2023, going 36/39 on PATs and 11/14 on FGs. All three of his misses came from 40+ yards out, as Connor kicked a perfect 6/6 from 39 yards or less, so he was reliable when they needed him to put some easy points on the board. This is a very welcome change, after BC’s Connor Lytton kicked just about 50% on field goal attempts two years ago.

Spirit Airlines is going upscale. In a break from its history, it will offer fares with extra perks
Spirit Airlines is moving farther away from its history as a fee-happy budget airline and will start selling tickets that include some of its most popular extras in bundles. The Florida-based airline said Tuesday the top ticket will be a “Go Big” package that includes priority check-in, a roomier seat, snacks and drinks, a checked bag, a carry-on bag and free WiFi. CEO Ted Christie said the changes are “taking low-fare travel to new heights.” They also indicate the deep trouble with Spirit’s longtime business model. The airline with bright yellow planes hasn’t made a full-year profit since 2019 — it has lost nearly $2.4 billion since — leading industry analysts to mull whether a bankruptcy filing could be in Spirit’s future.

What ‘Olympic Events’ Would Take Place in New England’s First Olympic Games?
The Olympics ROCK. Even non-sport fans like the thrill of the Olympics. It is partially national pride, but I think people just like to watch competitions. We don't really care about hot dog eating - but we ALL love the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. That got my brain thinking...imagine...
