Magician Ben Pratt Returns To The Park Theatre This Month
When a magician makes a mark on an audience, they never forget it. Comedy illusionist Ben Pratt has done that with Jaffrey's performing arts center, The Park Theatre. Ben returns to The Park for an unprecedented fourth time. Ben brings his illusions, magic, comedy, and assistant Emily to their 333-seat Eppes Auditorium. It all happens Friday, August 16 at 7:30pm.
Dartmouth College graduate wins bronze medal at Olympics
PARIS — A Dartmouth College graduate is bringing home a medal. Ariana Ramsey and Team USA’s women's rugby squad won the bronze medal this week after beating Australia. This is Ramsey's first Olympic medal in her second Olympic Games. Ramsey graduated from Dartmouth two years ago.
SwampBats Set to Face Sanford Mainers in Playoff Showdown
KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – As the 2024 regular season comes to a close, the Keene SwampBats are gearing up for a best-of-three first-round series against the Sanford Mainers in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) playoffs. The SwampBats, who are in pursuit of their sixth league championship, will begin the series on Thursday in Sanford, Maine, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Game 2 will take place in Keene on Friday, also at 6:30 p.m., and if necessary, a decisive Game 3 will be held back in Sanford on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
