Goodyear welcomes new grocery store

WinCo Foods has opened its newest grocery store in Goodyear, celebrating its grand opening on Oct. 14.

The arrival of WinCo has been a top request among Goodyear residents, ranking third in the city’s most recent retail survey conducted in 2023.

“We are delighted to finally see this project come to life. Goodyear residents have been asking for WinCo Foods, and we are excited to let them know they have been heard. WinCo will be a wonderful addition to the city, and we are eager to share the news and look forward to this well-known and much-needed business opening in Goodyear,” said Joe Pizzillo, Goodyear's mayor.

The new location, 15581 W. McDowell Road in the PebbleCreek Marketplace, features an 85,675-square-foot facility and includes a wide variety of grocery items, including organic and gluten-free products. WinCo stores are known for their low prices and encouraging shoppers to bag their own groceries.

The store accepts various payment methods, including debit cards, checks, cash, and EBT, but not credit cards.
