    LITTLE FALLS, NJ - The Little Falls Police Department has announced the launch of its inaugural Senior Police Academy, a program specifically designed for adults aged 55 and older. This educational initiative aims to enhance community relations and provide seniors with valuable safety knowledge and practical skills.

    The Senior Police Academy will take place every Wednesday from September 25 to October 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. The program offers a variety of topics and activities to engage and educate participants, including:

    • A comprehensive tour of the Police Department
    • A live K-9 demonstration
    • Home security tips and best practices
    • Information on consumer fraud prevention
    • Vehicle safety guidance
    • And many more insightful sessions

    "We are excited to announce the launch of our first Senior Police Academy, which we hope will become an annual event," Mayor James Damiano said on social media. "The academy will feature informational sessions and demonstrations. We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces in this class."
