Chatham Township Committee to Hold Special Virtual Meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Colony Pool Repair Design & Sending Out Bids
CHATHAM, NJ -- The Chatham Township Committee has scheduled a special virtual meeting to discuss the design plans for the crumbling walls at the Colony Pool and approve the solicitation of bids for the repair work at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. As discussed in prior meetings, the Colony Pool side walls are crumbling and in need of replacement. The Committee requested the Township Engineer develop plans. A draft plan was circulated to the Committee last week, with updated plans provided today. Those plans will be discussed tonight so that we can move forward with the bid process and toward having the work completed in the fall. No decisions have been made at this time. This is a discussion to find the right answer for our community and our Colony members. Three people shot in Jersey City in 25-hour span
Three people were shot in Jersey City between early Sunday and early Monday morning and three people were robbed at gunpoint, capping a violent weekend in the city. TOMS RIVER – A local man has been arrested and charged after fatally hitting a pedestrian with his car and leaving the scene, officials said.
